CIT -compressed COUNSELOR-IN TRAINING (CIT)
(Entering Grades 9 - 10)

Our counselor In Training (CIT) program is designed to develop tomorrow's leaders who are considering a career in Youth Development. teens who are involved in this program learn the skills necessary to become a counselor while working alongside our experienced staff. CIT's are encouraged to attend all pre-camp staff trainings and are required to attend some pre-camp training events to learn Y policies and procedures. CIT's can choose to work with either the YKnots or SOMapY Camps, and follow the schedule and activities of the camp chosen. Please read over both of these camp descriptions and decide which camp your future CIT would work best with. Many of our current staff were once CIT's.

Camp Dates: June 25th - August 24th
Camp Fees: $450 each 3-week session. No single week registrations allowed.
Before and After Camp Care is NOT available.

Please register before May 1st for the opportunity to attend Camp & Safety Training with the Camp Staff. (Some trainings are required, but all are highly encouraged.)
