TA Magic show

Pre-Teen Adventure (Entering Grades 5-6)
Teen Adventure (Entering Grades 6 - 8)

These camps provide challenging, fun and character-building experiences for the young teen and pre-teen.   Campers will have an extensive travel schedule for trip each week to places such as:  Great Adventure, Mountain Creek, Dorney Park, NY Aquarium, Mars 2012, NY City, bowling, ice skating, fishing, overnights including a visit to the beautiful Fairview Lake YMCA Camp grounds just to name a few.  Campers will be divided by grades for groups, but may interact for activities such as team-building exercises, games, sports, crafts and swimming when not on trips.  Staff are college-educated, fully trained and demonstrate a desire to develop positive values in youth.
Camp Hours: 9:00 -3:30pm
Camp Dates: June 28-August 27th
Camper-to-Staff Ratio: 10 to 1
Camp Fees: $895 each 3-week session, plus membership.
Camp Location: Maplecrest Park, Maplewood  & South Orange Community Pool
Rainy Day Site: If the weather prevents us from going on a scheduled trip (which will be rare since we will always plan to leave for scheduled trips and take our chance) or if there is no scheduled trip on a rainy day, camp will be relocated to the West Essex YMCA’s Weekday Child Care Center located at 294 West Hobart Gap Road, Livingston, NJ and will follow regular-scheduled bus routes. Please allow a few extra minutes when children are being dropped-off these days.
Before and After Camp Care is available at the YMCA Campers are bussed between locations.
FREE bus transportation from various locations in Maplewood and South Orange.
