Camper friends Y KNOTS (Pre-Schoolers 3½ & Up )
Designed to help pre-school campers learn group skills and develop self-confidence through safe, fun and educational activities.  Daily programs include swim instruction at the Maplewood Country Club, rest and playtime.  Weekly themes help campers explore and develop areas of interest through activities such as cooking, world life, art, creative play, music and sports.  Educational entertainers and field trips will also be provided each session. Onsite playground and childcare facilities are utilized.  Much of the staff are year-round child care workers at the South Mountain YMCA Child Care Center.  Campers must be potty-trained and accustomed to no nap or a short nap time.  
Camp Hours: 9:00am – 3:00pm           
Camper-to-Staff Ratio: 6 to 1                First Time Camper Information    
Camp Fees: $750 each 3-Week Session



SM08 - Swimming (21) Y KNOTS too! (Entering Kindergarten & 1st Grade)
By providing a separate, structured, developmentally progressive program, Y Knots Too offers an intermediate step between the Y Knots and So-Map-Y Camps. Daily programs include swim instruction at the Maplewood Country Club, arts & crafts, sports, music, drama, cooking and recreational play time.  Weekly themes help campers explore and develop areas of interests. Educational entertainers and field trips will also be scheduled each session.
