Please read below - some important changes for "Before School child Care"
Before and After School Programs offer a safe and caring environment where children in grades K-5 participate in arts and crafts, gym activities, special events, games and homework time until 7pm each day of the South Orange/Maplewood school calendar.  Daily healthy snacks and homework assistance provided.  We are licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health.

The Horizon Blue Cross foundation has sponsored a program for all NJ YMCA After School Programs.  This “HEALTHY U!” program is designed to integrate healthy practices through organized physical play, nutrition, and parental involvement.  By implementing the CATCH (Coordinated Approach to Child Health) program, children will be more active, learn more about nutrition, and develop many new habits that we hope will be an aide in guiding children and families to healthier lifestyles.

Our programs follow the South Orange/Maplewood school calendar.

All children participating in the Before/After school programs must have a current YMCA membership.  Please click HERE  for Membership information.
