Summer Session June 28 - August 4th class codes in Orange BASKETBALL Not only is the YMCA the birthplace of basketball, but the South Mountain YMCA has been providing the finest in youth basketball instruction and fun in the area for years. South Mountain Y is proud to offer quality basketball for all skills and needs. Coach Dave Berry will once again be providing leadership to all of our basketball programs. 
Kinder Basketball (4-5 yrs) (class code 45305)When: Mondays 6:00 - 7:00 PM June 28 - August 2nd Where: YMCA Gym Who: for children 4-5 years old What: Introduction to basketball through skill games & fun. Please observe age restrictions. Cost: $58 members / $83 Non-Members Youth Basketball Clinic (6-8 Yrs) - Level I (class code 45306) When: Mondays 7:00-8:00 pm, June 28-August 2nd Where: YMCA Gym Who: For children 6-8 years of age What: Coach Fred will lead the class teaching fundamentals of basketball (dribbling, passing, shooting and defense) in a fun, values-centered environment. There will be game play at end of each class. This class is for children new to basketball or just beginning the sport. Cost: $58 Members/$83 Non-members Youth Basketball Clinic - Level II When: Wednesdays 6:00 - 7:00pm or 7:00- 8:00pm, June 30 - August 4th Who: For children leaving Grades 1-2 - clinic is 6-7:00 PM (code 45308) For children leavings Grades 3-4 - clinic is 7-8:00 PM (code 45307) What: Coach Fred will lead the class teaching fundamentals of basketball (dribbling, passing, shooting and defense) in a fun, values-centered environment. There will be game play at the end of each class. Please Note This Restriction: Children previously enrolled in 2 or more YMCA basketball programs may register for this class, or by instructor permission. Cost: $58 Members / $83 Non-members Girls Basketball Clinic (9-13 Yrs) – Level II (class code 45433) When: Mondays 8:00-9:00 pm, June 28-August 2nd Where: YMCA Gym Who: for girls 9-13 years of age What: Coach Fred will lead the class teaching fundamentals of basketball (dribbling, passing, shooting and defense) in a fun, values-centered environment. There will be game play at end of each class. Cost: $58 Members/$83 Non-members/Drop In -$15.00 |
